Strange People

'Whom having NOT SEEN, you love; in whom, though now YOU SEE HIM NOT, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory’ –1 Peter 1:8
These people rejoice with joy unspeakable & full of glory for whom they have not & cannot see yet.
These people dance & sing praises when their breakthrough has not come yet.
These people celebrate & boast when their expectation is yet to be fulfilled.
THESE ARE STRANGE PEOPLE!

Blood...

I got this article from someone, so I thought to share
I gave blood today. It was the first time in over 6 years and I had only donated once before. As I reflect on the day's event, I see spiritual truth and application in what appears to be a simple thing.
Christianity is symbolized by the cross. The blood of Jesus is the verbal wording and pictorial image of the sacrifice and salvation for Christians. If you are not Christian, bear with me, this will relate.
The symbol of the organization that collects blood to save lives is The Red Cross. I got a chance to stare at it while I was on the donating couch. It's not a Christian cross, it's a plus sign.

Mega city??? You kidding me?

Been doing some home/office calling recently; I've probably been to your area two times over, if you live in Lagos. I couldn't help noticing how much Lagos of my memory has become just that; memories! Neighbourhoods that used to be friendly and warm because of the community life therein, have all become cold and noisy because they now have tables, chairs, air conditioners and generating sets as the permanent residents instead of humans. An average residential area of yesterday, that boomed with life and warmth of a community, has become a dark lonely alley with little or no life left in it, as residents cede their homes to offices and businesses ready to pay fortunes to have them. Look around you, take a walk down your street, and round your estate, it will shock you to realise how many offices there are, taking up buildings meant for residential purposes.
